Alex Jones, creator of the ‘Deport Piers Morgan’ petition, has told Piers Morgan that he and his supporters would only give up their gun ownership in return for special spider powers.
“I don’t care about your little factoids” he told Mr Morgan on his CNN show when being confronted with gun death statistics “The Roman empire failed because they took all the guns away, Atlantis sunk because they took all the guns away and I’m too fat because people are trying to take all the guns away” he explained.
Mr Jones has sparked widespread controversy since expressing his views on gun control. The outspoken Texan has also told Morgan that taking away people’s guns would lead to government tyranny, earthquakes, widespread incest and a very nasty outbreak of herpes.
The only reason we would accept a ban on firearms is if you arrange for us to be bitten by a radio active spider. We know the Government breed them, and we know you all have them in Britain. That’s why none of you have guns”
Morgan has ruled out an immediate return to Britain despite the petition. He has denied that this is in anyway due to possible allegations of phone tapping and has simply cited the growing number of ‘web related deaths’ for remaining in America.
